Flexi paints 240 ml

Flexible paints are designed to maintain adhesion and durability even when the surface to which they are applied is bent or moved. Unlike standard paints that can crack or peel under bending, these flexi paints contain special additives that improve their flexibility. Green Stuff World's formula contains no latex or vinyl to avoid allergic reactions and is ideal for use on materials such as EVA foam, latex, fabric, leather, 3D prints, and various cosplay materials.

To improve adhesion and prevent it from peeling off, it is important to clean and prepare the surface thoroughly. Some materials may require sanding or priming to improve adhesion. Possible primers for this type of paint would be, first of all, super flexible foam primer, the same flexi paint but diluted and very thin, or as an option, you could also use 1 thin layer of plasti dip vinyl coating or even latex.

It should always be applied in very thin layers, especially the first layer. Second and subsequent layers should be applied while the first layer is still tacky, i.e. the paint does not stain, but you can feel that it is not completely dry. Incorrect or very thick applications, or simply large accumulations of paint, can affect its adhesion and create wrinkles.

For best results, the full drying process should be respected, with a recommended curing time of at least 24 hours, especially if painted on a low-adherence surface. Larger accumulations of paint may require much longer, depending on the thickness.

Applying it with an airbrush or spray gun allows for extremely thin and even coatings, reducing the risk of flaking. We recommend diluting with water or, better yet, with Green Stuff World's acrylic paint thinner, especially for the first coat, where a thin application is so important.

The satin finish of our flexible paints offers an ideal balance between matt and gloss, providing a surface with a slight reflection that subtly highlights details without exaggerating imperfections. This type of finish is especially recommended for flexible pieces, as it is more resistant to dirt than the matte finish, maintains an attractive visual appearance, withstands handling very well and facilitates cleaning, adapting perfectly to projects that require resistance, durability and aesthetic elegance.

• Mixing with non-flexible colors can negatively affect flexibility and final adhesion.
• Painting with non-flexible colors on top does not guarantee that the following ones will acquire the property of flexibility.
• If the first coat is not thin enough or if a suitable primer is not applied, it could affect its adhesion.
• Allow to dry for 24 hours before final use. If it feels tacky to the touch, it has not dried yet.
• They are not elastic paints, but flexible. They have a moderate elasticity that allows them to adapt to movements without losing adherence, but they can crack or break if they are stretched excessively.
• A flexible varnish can be used as a final protective layer to improve durability.
